Founding Node Naming Rights

A Permanent Name. A Permanent Structure.

Every Umpireal plaque is cut in the BEAR & North Star motif — guided by the same Ursa Major pointer stars that have shown travellers the way to Polaris for millennia. A naming right places your name at the centre of it: not for a season, but for the full 100-year design life of the structure.

The Two Options

Annual, or Permanent.

Keystone — Annual Keystone — Lifetime
Price €100,000 Year 1 · €90,000 annual renewal €2,000,000 – €3,000,000, one-time
Term Annual, renewable. Maintained while contributions are current; 60-day grace period on missed renewals. Permanent. Full 100-year civil design life. No renewal, ever.
Naming Right Full node and region naming: "The [Name] Junction, [Region] — by Umpireal." Identical naming right, held permanently rather than year to year.
Slots 1 per node — shared with the Lifetime option. Once either is claimed, the node's naming right is fully allocated. Same single slot per node.

Pricing basis for the Lifetime option: the net present value of the €100,000/yr annual right over its full 100-year term, plus a premium for permanence and certainty — the same logic that prices a permanent naming right above a renewable one in university and civic philanthropy.

What the Naming Right Includes
Full Node & Region Naming
Applied to on-site signage and all digital and investor-facing materials referencing that node — "The [Name] Junction, [Region] — by Umpireal."
Founding Node Partner
Recognition across Umpireal's network materials.
Annual Impact Statement
CO₂ prevented, NOx reduction, and energy reuse at the named node — suitable for corporate sustainability and Scope 3 emissions reporting.
Permanence, If Chosen
The Lifetime option cannot be revisited or revoked by a future council, board, or Umpireal itself for non-renewal — there is nothing to renew.
For Individuals, Families & Legacy Giving

A Legacy That Outlasts You.

A permanent naming right is available to corporations and individuals alike. For those looking to leave a lasting legacy through civic infrastructure that serves the public good — in a family name, or in memory of someone — the Lifetime option is priced and structured identically, with the naming party being a named individual or family rather than a company.

Separate From Other Programmes

This is a distinct product from Umpireal's founding sponsorship programme (Pillar, Foundation Partner, and Founding Friend tiers, from €10 — see Sponsorship). Naming rights govern the identity of the node itself; sponsorship tiers govern physical and digital recognition alongside it. The two can be held independently or together, and are priced and contracted separately.

Interested in funding an entire node through direct equity investment, rather than a naming right? That's a separate product — a project-finance structure with its own term sheet, waterfall, and legal framework. Enquire directly to discuss.

Next Steps

Arranged Directly.

Naming rights are arranged directly rather than through self-serve checkout, given the scale and permanence of the commitment. Enquire to discuss site selection, exact pricing within the Lifetime range, and contract terms.

Before You Enquire

A naming right funds site selection, planning, and design work for an Umpireal pilot node — it is a licence to a name, not an investment or financial instrument. Umpireal is early-stage; if a specific site is ever delayed or does not proceed, naming-rights holders are offered a transfer, a refund, or continued recognition. Full detail, including what "Lifetime" and "100-year" mean contractually, is in the Terms & Conditions.
